<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dkeaRswvp2U/UYK-c8hmrrI/AAAAAAAAAjk/rGbLMAHM_5g/s1600/photo-7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dkeaRswvp2U/UYK-c8hmrrI/AAAAAAAAAjk/rGbLMAHM_5g/s320/photo-7.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I have been working on my kitchen for a while now. It's been a slooooow process. We don't have enough money to do all the things that we really want like, tile backsplash, granite counters, new cabinets, new appliances. I finally had enough of my boring kitchen. So I started thinking of ways to make it different without hardly any expense. We have oak cabinets which are fairly new. They are beautiful but I'm pretty sick of oak. It's just never been my style. After looking at different ways to update original cabinets I decided the best choice for us was to stain them. I found some awesome tutorials on a stain called General Finishes. Amazing stuff!! I'll share links and pictures once they are done. Something I finished recently was the 'backsplash.' Now tile isn't super expensive, but it was still money we don't have. I did however have paint and thought a stencil would be cheap. So thats what I did. I stenciled a backsplash. It's not perfect and I would totally prefer tile but it looks pretty cool. If you want a super cheap way to update your kitchen try a stencil backsplash. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Damage to my wallet: 5$</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Can't beat that. The stencil was the only thing I bought specific for this project. and I just used paint I already had on hand. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok. So I know its not Easter anymore, but we got chicks this year for Easter and I just love having them. They have been very fun and not so fun at the same time. I have been wanting chickens for sooooooo long. I know I'm weird. See I'm a cat person..... I know right? And my husband is a cat hater. So my dream of having a kitty was brutally squashed when we got married. So for a while I was thinking I wanted a dog. But my husband is not much of a animal person, so our ideas of how it should be taken care of and other things was a battle as well. Soon I simply gave up my fight of wanting animals, mostly because I figured I would be a rude wife and just go get the animal of my choice when we were settled in life and I was ready to take care of an animal. Having kids and the older I get the less and less I wanted a dog. I still want a cat but shhh don't tell my husband. When it was time for us to buy our first home I learned that my husband is not so much and animal hater he just wants land and space for them. Since it was our first home and I knew it would be a while before we would be able to afford that kind of space I started looking into chickens. I've wanted them but thought my hubby would think I was weird. haha. But turns out that was an animal he didn't mind getting now. After a ton of research and asking neighbors and family about chickens. We decided it was time, and we headed to our local feed barn to pick some up. I was going to order some from an online hatchery but decided I wasn't that picky and it was easier to just go to the feed barn. They had three kinds, Araucanas, Rhode Island Reds and Welsummers. Araucanas lay blue-green eggs, RIR lay brown eggs and Welsummers lay dark brown eggs. We got one of each and 2 RIR's. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-plQ6cxaBlsg/UXXCPGmuN3I/AAAAAAAAAhw/haKUgAKbKG4/s1600/photo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-plQ6cxaBlsg/UXXCPGmuN3I/AAAAAAAAAhw/haKUgAKbKG4/s320/photo.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Aren't they just the cutest little fluff balls? Black one is the Araucana, yellow with the brown strip is the Welsummer, and the other two are the RIR's. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My sister knew we wanted chicks and was at a company party where they were giving them away for free. What she didn't know was that same day we were picking up our own chicks. She decided to keep them and since they live in an apartment they will live at our house until they get a bigger place. She doesn't know what kind they are but they are a funny little group.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
They have grown so much and are starting to enter their ugly stage, but their fun personalities are starting to come out too. We have been working on their coop taking it a little at a time. It will hopefully be done soon cause I'm want my garage back. The nights are starting to be warm enough for them to stay out at night!! Wahoo. No more chicken poo garage. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So if you are thinking about getting some chickens make sure you do your research before hand. Chickens are not for everyone. They are a lot of work in the beginning stages and messy. But as they grow older and you move them to a coop. They become a lot less work AND they will give you beautifully delicious eggs! They help with compost too. My husband is super excited about doing compost for our garden. I love pets that give back. </div>

So we have been pregnant over here at the crafty senoritas. We were pregnant at the same time even, with due dates only days apart. We even had a friend who was pregnant with twins, with a due date the same day as well. Unfortunately she had her twins at 25 weeks and they have had a rough battle which they have been overcoming one day at a time. I, shortly before she had her twins, lost my baby to a miscarriage. Not my first experience with that either. We went from 4 babies to one, Ashley was now the only one expecting. A few months after my miscarriage I ended up pregnant again. Which was good news, but I had my sister's wedding I was suppose to decorate for in only a few weeks away. Battling morning sickness while trying being a wedding planner is not an ideal situation. Then once the wedding was done, I started having spotting. I was so not happy at this point, thinking that I was losing the baby again. I had 3 ultrasounds in the first couple months because I kept having signs of a threatened miscarriage. But gratefully the baby was fine each time and I am now in my 20th week of pregnancy. Ashley just had her baby, early. I think he was 6 weeks early, but baby is fine and mom is healing. So needless to say things have been a roller coaster over here at the Crafty Senoritas. So blogging has not been a priority and I apologize to those who still follow us. Hopefully we can start getting back up to speed, with no more unwanted complications. (crossing fingers) In my past pregnancies once I hit half way I would start having simple complications. Simple, but complications are complications. So far all my complications have been at the beginning and things have been getting better as I get further into it. Hopefully this keeps up.<br />
<br />
Ok. So has anyone ever experienced 'nesting.' I haven't with my other pregnancies. I would get this burning desire to have the whole house carpets professionally cleaned, but that's about has far as the nesting would go. With this pregnancy..... it's a whole other ball game. I think I caught 'spring cleaning fever!!!' I have been DEEP cleaning like every day and if I don't, I get grouchy. WHAT?!!! That's like oil and water right there. I hate cleaning. If I could hire someone to do it for me I would. I guess I'm just lazy, it's sad. But seriously I loath cleaning. It's just a part of life and that's fine but I hate it regardless. So me getting grouchy because I didn't DEEP clean is crazy. I think my husband is wondering what happened to his wife. Bahahaha. She's been taken over by a crazy pregnant lady. Mu ahahaha. So I've hit my pinterest boards and looked for tips on how to clean things faster. I've tried a few lately with success and failure as well.<br />
<br />
I'll share what I've learned. <a href="http://www.howdoesshe.com/cheaper-and-better-diy-laundry-detergent/" target="_blank">Homemade Laundry detergent</a>. I used to do <a href="http://craftysenoritas.blogspot.com/2012/04/howd-you-do-that-laundry-soap.html" target="_blank">liquid Homemade detergent</a> but have since been converted to the powder form. Only reason is it's easier to store and the liquid seems to lose it's cleaning power the longer it sits. With the powder I can make a huge batch ahead of time and I can store it in smaller containers, so it takes up less space. I have a small laundry room so space is definitely hard to come by. I got a recipe from a friend who has a picky husband and she said he loves this recipe. Well I took it home and lost it on the way to the store...... figures. I could remember the ingredients but not how much I needed of everything. I have pinterest on my phone so while I was at the store, standing in the laundry isle, I did an emergency search. I found this recipe <a href="http://www.howdoesshe.com/cheaper-and-better-diy-laundry-detergent/" target="_blank">here</a> at <a href="http://www.howdoesshe.com/" target="_blank">How Does She?</a> Pretty sure it's the same recipe if not super close to it. Only thing I would recommend is sticking with the Zote soap. I've used the Fels Naptha but I like the Zote a bit better, just a personal preference. I ground up my soap, which is the hardest part, and mixed everything in a 5 gallon bucket. Once mixed, I stored most of it in a Jar and the remaining I used the empty purex crystals bottles. I have a ginormous washing machine and dryer. It's the biggest size you can get before you go industrial, so I seem to use a bit more soap than a standard size machine. I found coffee scoops at my local dollar store that measure 1/8 cup. Perfect amount for my machine.<br />
<br />
Shower Cleaner- Half Dawn dish soap and half vinegar in a fillable dish scrubber. I keep it in the shower and wipe down the walls every time I shower. I've noticed it keeps the soap scum and hard water spot at bay. I still clean the shower with cleaner but I don't have to scrub off soap build up and water spots.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2012/04/streak-free-window-cleanerno-wiping-or.html" target="_blank">Streak Free Window Cleaner</a>- I didn't follow this recipe exactly and it didn't work as well. I had some areas on my window that dried with spots. I don't use powder dish detergent. I've made my own and I hate it. So I used some of my homemade laundry soap to see if that would work. Not so much. Next time I'm going to try liquid dish soap. If that still doesn't work I'll give in and buy a box of powdered detergent. I'm cheap what can I say, that and I like to use what I already have on hand. Also I could cut the recipe in half because I don't have a ton of windows so that would save some money too.<br />
<br />
Homemade Dish Detergent-I tried a few different recipes. Conclusion: I works just like the cheapest powder detergent and it cost more to make. I did not like homemade dishwasher detergent. I always had a nasty film and the dishes weren't getting clean. I thought it might be my washer starting to crap out on me. So I tried cleaning it, I tried adding more citrus acid to the mix because here in AZ we have really hard water. I went and bought some different types of detergent. I what I learned was the expensive stuff is expensive for a reason. At least for dishwasher detergent. Once we switched back to our previous method of cleaner our dishes have been fine. The come out sparkly and CLEAN!! I do like using vinegar as a dishwasher machine cleaner. About once a month I run the machine empty with vinegar to keep it clean. I use to buy the machine cleaners but now I don't have to. Vinegar works just as good.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://aprrilsopinion.blogspot.com/2012/06/amazing-grout-cleaner.html" target="_blank">Amazing Grout Cleaner!!!</a>-seriously this stuff is amazing. It really, really works. The best stuff I have found!! Just trust me and try it, you will be amazed.<br />
<br />
Clean Blinds-I found a tip for cleaning blinds. They use and old sock and vinegar. I don't know what it is with ppl and old socks but whenever they suggest to use an old sock for something it never works out for me. It just makes things worse. Maybe its just me. After some trial and error I found a system that works for me. First I get my trusty vacuum and its brush attachment, then I attack the blinds starting from the top and sliding down (blinds are closed facing down) then I switch them to facing up and start from bottom and slide to the top. This get most of the dust off. Then I spray them with my water vinegar cleaner (one part water, one part vinegar) and with a damp rag wipe the blinds down. This has been the fastest, less messy and easiest way for me. After I clean the blinds I clean the window.<br />
<br />
Window Track Cleaning-My window tracks were looking pretty nasty. Vacuuming was just not cutting it anymore. So I found some tips on how to clean those. Most said to use Q tips and vinegar. I started doing that then quickly learned I was going to need a whole box per window. No thank. Some other people said use a toothbrush. So I dipped my cleaning toothbrush in vinegar and tried that. It got most of the dirt and grime but I couldn't quite get the tight corners. That is when I used the Q tips. After a good scrub I took a paper towel and wiped up the excess vinegar and dirt. Now they are all sparkly and clean. <a href="http://askannamoseley.com/2012/04/spring-cleaning-washing-windows-more/" target="_blank">Ask Anna</a> has some great tips for deep cleaning window too.<br />
<br />
<br />
So this is what I have learned so far. I have more to do and more things to try. Come back soon for more tips and new posts. I have been crafty up a crazy too. New car seat cover, new kitchen crafts, fun stuff I hope to get posted soon.<br />

I'll leave you with one of my favorite pictures of my 2 1/2 year old daughter. We were in the kitchen cleaning up after breakfast and she dragged her chair from their room all the way into the kitchen, plopped in from of the garbage can, demanded a scrubby and went to "cleaning." This sassy lil' girl loves to help and clean. She doesn't get that from me. But I just love love love that she loves to clean and help. She has her own little broom and scrubbies. I give her a spray bottle with water so that she can 'help me clean.' I hope she keeps that joy and happiness always. She is my inspiration and helps me 'enjoy' (sort of) cleaning a little bit more. Also she is the tornado in our house. She makes a bigger mess than the rest of us put together. Ha ha. So when she wants to help I gladly except. My sweetheart son isn't very messy and hates to clean like me. So he does his chores and thats good enough for me. Who wants to clean up after their slob sister anyways. :)<br />

She taught me how to make pot stickers last year and taught me about Chinese New Year and a little bit about her culture. I love most asian food. So my husband decided he wanted to start a fun family tradition and make some kind of asian dish on Chinese New Year each year. February 10th was the New Year this time and we missed it cause too much was going on. So we celebrated a couple days late. I wanted to share my friends recipe and how she taught me to make them. They are so delicious!!!<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #783f04;"><b><u>Pork Pot Stickers</u></b></span><br />
<br />
1 pkg. ground pork (avoid lean, because the fat is what makes them bursting with juice)<br />
Napa Cabbage (chopped, about 2 cups)<br />
Fresh Ginger (grated, about 2 tablespoons)<br />
2-3 garlic cloves (minced)<br />
2 tablespoons soy sauce<br />
2 tablespoons sesame oil<br />
1 egg<br />
Salt (about 1/2 tablespoon)<br />
1 pkg of gyoza/potsticker wrappers<br />
<br />
Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together.<br />
<br />
For the ginger I take about one chunk. Then I peel it and grate it over the bowl.<br />

These are the type of wrappers I used. I got them at my local asian market. There are just over 50 in the package.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fuiu7Dic9Cs/USusxoB9RcI/AAAAAAAAAe4/HmZLXQGfNtM/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fuiu7Dic9Cs/USusxoB9RcI/AAAAAAAAAe4/HmZLXQGfNtM/s1600/image.jpeg" width="239" /></a></div>
Once the ingredients are all mixed well I start filling the wrappers. I use about a tablespoon of filling and plop it in the middle.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TMZs3fGzKNs/USus9uNv-SI/AAAAAAAAAfg/CyTONONd6D4/s1600/image_6.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TMZs3fGzKNs/USus9uNv-SI/AAAAAAAAAfg/CyTONONd6D4/s1600/image_6.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I have a bowl of water handy and dip my finger in the water and spread it around the edge. Just enough to dampen the dough. This makes it stick together easier when you fold it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ty8o1CvehPk/USutF-DNinI/AAAAAAAAAgA/rkes3Cazst8/s1600/image_8.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ty8o1CvehPk/USutF-DNinI/AAAAAAAAAgA/rkes3Cazst8/s1600/image_8.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-j7xyqxrMTDo/USus9pYQgtI/AAAAAAAAAfk/r4hLcpB-8QQ/s1600/image_7.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-j7xyqxrMTDo/USus9pYQgtI/AAAAAAAAAfk/r4hLcpB-8QQ/s1600/image_7.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Crease only one side of the dumpling and pinch it together. Having only one side creased creates the curve so they will stand up nicely in the pan.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iaIUMhDYolM/USutCAAwVEI/AAAAAAAAAf4/gPGmgTQKDuM/s1600/image_9.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iaIUMhDYolM/USutCAAwVEI/AAAAAAAAAf4/gPGmgTQKDuM/s1600/image_9.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-b8O2tpYcq_I/USuslWJzoXI/AAAAAAAAAec/kywqWNBHS80/s1600/image_10.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-b8O2tpYcq_I/USuslWJzoXI/AAAAAAAAAec/kywqWNBHS80/s1600/image_10.jpeg" width="239" /></a></div>
Continue to make more once you have enough to fill your pan add about a tablespoon of oil to the bottom and brown the bottoms of them slightly. Once the are nicely browned get your lid and about 1 cup of water ready. Pour the water into the pan and quickly cover with the lid. Be careful cause if there is some oil left in the pan, (there usually is) it will splatter.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HwOy0qFF7Io/USusqgpe-mI/AAAAAAAAAek/HCETdmyLmHo/s1600/image_11.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HwOy0qFF7Io/USusqgpe-mI/AAAAAAAAAek/HCETdmyLmHo/s1600/image_11.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
Once covered cook for about five minutes. The goal here is to steam all the water out and get the bottoms back to slightly crunchy. My potstickers needed a little bit more time to cook cause I could tell the tops weren't quite done. So I added 1/4 cup more water and that did the trick.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Hll93E-uhWk/USus0j2uiJI/AAAAAAAAAfA/yoJS_UILV8A/s1600/image_12.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Hll93E-uhWk/USus0j2uiJI/AAAAAAAAAfA/yoJS_UILV8A/s1600/image_12.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
We don't eat all fifty in one meal so I finish the rest of them, place them on a cookie sheet and freeze them. Once frozen I put them in a ziplock bag and save them for another meal. They cook up the same way as if fresh. (Brown the bottoms, then toss in the water and steam)<br />
<br />
Here are some other recipes we found and made this year to go with our potstickers.<br />

We do, however, have a tradition that we have accidentally formed. We are big breakfast eaters at our house. Not much cereal gets eaten over here and we are almost always together as a family for it to. So I have lots of breakfast recipes that I'm always trying. Usually for the holidays I like to find something that fits for breakfast. Last year I made heart shaped pancakes for Valentine's and we had pink eggs and strawberry milk. I found a recipe a while ago for red velvet pancakes. They were delicious!! So this year for Valentine's breakfast I made<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.thatssoyummy.com/recipes/red-velvet-pancakes-chocolate-chips/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #990000;">RED VELVET HEART PANCAKES!!!</span></a><br />
<br />
They were just has good has I remembered. I did my hearts by hand so they were a little wonky looking but oh so good. I also tried out a new recipe for syrup.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://shefshanan.com/2011/06/11/coconut-syrup.aspx" target="_blank"><span style="color: #783f04;">COCONUT SYRUP!!!</span></a><br />
<br />
oh my goodness it was the perfect syrup for these pancakes. It gave it just the right touch. I've had them with maple and buttermilk syrup but the coconut was by far the best. I think the coconut would be wonderful on banana pancakes as well. Who am I kidding? It would be good on anything. So yummy.<br />
<br />
So Happy Valentine's ya'll!! Enjoy your recipes.<br />
<br />
(I didn't make these recipes, I found them on the web. Click on the names and it will take you to the link to the talented people who <i>did</i> create these recipes. Also check out the rest of there blogs they are pretty awesome!)<br />

I'm sad but glad that it's done. Boutiques are definitely hard work, but super fun too. I've met some really cool people over the last couple months. The boutiques were great and there were a lot of awesome vendors at each with extremely cool stuff. If you missed out I'm so sorry cause it was definitely amazing.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So now that the boutiques are done, time to get back on track. I love this time of year. Halloween is always the starter of the holidays. We always have a blast at a bunch of parties and make a bunch of different crafts from Halloween to Christmas. Things are so busy it seems we are always running somewhere for something. Getting to see family and friends we haven't seen in a while. Eating amazing food and gaining the lovely winter weight. We are avid Halloween enthusiasts, and love a good Turkey Day, but I have to admit my favorite holiday is Christmas. It's such a wonderful holiday focused on love, joy, peace and Christ. I'm so grateful for my beliefs and the blessings I have received. This year has been a tough one but this wonderful holiday is a great way to end the year. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
With that said here are some of my favorite crafts and tutorials for Christmas!!</div>

If you are just reading this series <a href="http://www.craftysenoritas.blogspot.com/2012/07/homemaking-guide-project.html" target="_blank">start here</a> at the begining.<br />
<br />
Figuring out a daily schedule has been probably the hardest part so far for me because I'm not one to stick to schedules. I like the freedom of just going with the flow. See how the day goes. Well that hasn't really been working in my favor so it's time for some structure. So after hours and weeks of research and trying things out this is what my schedule will look like for now.<br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
Now... I am not a morning person at all. I hate waking up early. But I know how important it is to get up in the morning and get moving. My daughter has always been a morning person and has been my alarm clock. But as of recently she has been sleeping in or just playing quietly in her crib. So as a result I have been back in the routine of sleeping in late. If I don't get moving first thing in the morning I tend to drag my feet all day. Then as a result I don't get anything done. Early morning is when I get the most done. But actually forcing myself to get up has definitely been a challenge. If you aren't a morning person don't worry about forcing yourself to do something you know you aren't going to do. I'm not a morning person, but I know myself, and that if I don't force myself to get up then my day is not a productive one. I have been exercising lately out of the home and just recently started doing some stuff in the mornings. I like this because it gets me motivated for the rest of the day. I don't do hard core working up a sweat exercising. Just something like pilates or yoga for about 20-30 minutes. This also doesn't happen everyday either. Some mornings I just can't motivate myself to do it. My kids hear me in the morning so they wake up on there own. After the kids are fed and dressed in the morning, this is when I like to run my errands. Morning is the best time for me to go out and get things accomplished because if I wait, it doesn't seem to get done. I hate taking my kids on my errands with me because we are a circus, but I know if I wait until later in the day it doesn't get done because something comes up. My kids are 2 and 4, and from the day the were both were put on a napping schedule. Yes, my 4 year old still naps... most days. Some days I can tell it would be better for him not to have a nap, but for the most part he still needs a nap. If he is on a no-nap-day he has quiet free play in his room. That way I still get my quiet time. After naps I have started doing structured play time with my kids. This is my time to play with them and teach them at the same time. The most important thing to me during this time is to give them my undivided attention. After our playtime together it's time for me to start dinner. So to distract them, this is when they get to watch t.v. or play with electronics. They get to choose what they want to play with. Once I'm done making dinner we set the table and eat together as a family. After everyone is done eating we clear the table and have our family scripture study. With toddlers, our scripture study last about a second but we want to get in the habit of doing it. After, we have dessert if there is any for that night. Close to bed time we start their nightly routines of chores, baths, pjs and reading. Once the kids are in bed I do my nightly chores then me and my husband have our free time until lights out. This has been working the best for us right now. I know once my oldest starts school a few things will change. Also my days don't always go like this. We schedule in play dates and doctor appointments and things just come up. This is just a guide to help us on those days where there isn't anything planned. This has helped add a little structure to my otherwise crazy days.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I made an excel spread sheet with this schedule on it and put it behind <a href="http://www.craftysenoritas.blogspot.com/2012/07/homemaking-guidepart-one-schedules.html" target="_blank">my daily chore chart</a> in my HMG.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
So <a href="http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/2008/12/freebie-alert.html" target="_blank">Heather's</a> first section she has in her HMG in her bible study section. I study the scriptures as well but I have a separate journal for that. So I will skip that section. The second section in her HMG is Work Schedules. She breaks it down into <a href="http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/2008/12/freebie-alert.html" target="_blank">Daily Tasks</a>, <a href="http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/2008/12/how-to-make-weekly-work-schedule.html" target="_blank">Weekly Work Schedules</a>, A Breakdown of her daily Schedule for the <a href="http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/2011/11/a-daily-schedule-for-stay-at-home-moms.html" target="_blank">School Year</a> and the <a href="http://blog.wantingwhatyouhave.com/2009/06/summer-schedule-for-stay-at-home-moms.html" target="_blank">Summer</a>. I will be putting my Cleaning Schedule, Weekly Schedule, and my Kids Daily Schedule in this section. These Schedules will change every now and then but if I have a copy of it, when it does need a change I won't have to start from scratch again. These schedules take a long time to complete. For mine I did a lot of research of what other people do and customized them to my needs. A lot of people do laundry once a day. I used to do it once a week because I hated the idea of laundry EVERY DAY. And that worked out fine when I only had one kid. But now that our family is growing if I only did laundry once a week it would get over whelming and literally take the whole day to wash/dry/fold/put away my laundry. So I tried switching to one type of laundry a day and that as been so much easier. Then I scoured pinterest and found some other cool ideas. Like <a href="http://littlegreennotebook.blogspot.com/2012/03/my-cleaning-process-and-500-give-away.html" target="_blank">this one</a> that had a 'swing' day for working in the monthly tasks. And <a href="http://www.brownpaper--packages.com/2012/02/clean-home.html" target="_blank">this one</a> that broke up the weekly cleaning. This works great for me. I'm not very fast at cleaning and so I was trying to have Saturday be my day for the weekly chores, but something always seemed to be going on. So I would only get about half way done. So now each day something gets done and I don't have to worry about it till the next week. So After all my research and knowing myself I have finally compiled a daily cleaning schedule for myself. My daily chores seem like a lot but they are simple and fast. I don't spend a lot of time doing all of them.<br />
Morning Chores-<br />
make bed, wipe down bathroom counters, empty dishwasher, load of laundry, get mail, chore of the day<br />
Nightly Chores-<br />
load dishwasher, wipe down kitchen counters, take out trash, quick sweep/vacuum, spot clean floor, de-clutter living areas<br />
I try to do this everyday. These aren't deep cleaning chores. Just things to keep the house tidy.<br />
Weekly Chores//Chore of the Day-<br />
Monday-<br />
I dust and vacuum the whole house. Again I don't do a deep clean I just do a quick dust and vacuum in each room to all the surface areas. I don't move the furniture, I just quickly go around each room.<br />
Tuesday-<br />
I clean all the mirrors and windows. I even clean the one's I have up for decorations. This one is easy because I don't have a lot of mirrors. And for the windows I only clean the inside not the outside. I leave that for my Saturday yard work.<br />
Wednesday-<br />
This is the day I give the bathrooms a good cleaning. I clean the showers, tubs, toilets and sinks. I only have two bathrooms and they are small so this goes pretty fast as well. Don't forget to clean the bottom of the toilet and the wall behind it (especially if you have little boys)<br />
Thursday-<br />
This is when I mop all the floors. I love doing this before the weekend because then my floors are all clean for company on the weekends. I have a ton of tile so this usually takes me a bit longer. Don't forget to seal your grout every couple years to keep it from looking grungy. I found an amazing recipe for cleaning grout<a href="http://aprrilsopinion.blogspot.com/2012/06/amazing-grout-cleaner.html" target="_blank"> here</a>.<br />
Friday-<br />
This is my 'swing' day. This is when I DEEP cleaning things. My monthly cleaning is broken up throughout the month so that I don't have to worry about one big monthly cleaning day. And I don't have to spend the entire day doing it. This is when I move furniture and vacuum underneath, clean my appliances, baseboards, doors and walls. These tasks take a little extra time but I have noticed that I'm getting faster at it because things are staying cleaner during the week.<br />
Saturday-<br />
This is when I do all my outside chores like, wash the outside of the windows, clean off the patio, pull weeds, clean up garage and shed, check the sprinklers for any problems. The kids love playing outside and get to help with some of the stuff too.<br />
Sunday is my day of rest<br />
<br />
My laundry is broken up into days as well. Monday thru Wednesday is when I do mine and my husbands laundry. Thursday and Friday are the kids laundry days. Saturday is when I wash all my towels and bedding that needs to be cleaned.<br />
<br />
I created a layout on my computer and found a frame in my stock pile and found some cute scrapbook paper in my other stock pile. I hung it up in the hall with the kids chore charts. As I do each chore I mark it off with a dry erase marker. I didn't want the kids to have glass frames so I used sheet protectors and a clip board. They love getting to mark off the chores they complete. If you would like to make some of your own I found a cute free template <a href="http://pinchalittlesavealot.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/free-printable-kids-chore-chart.html" target="_blank">here</a> on pinterest. I love my new chore boards because they help keep <i>all</i> of us motivated to keep the house clean. I'll eventually make the wall cuter and decorate it better, but for now it is functional and being used and that's all that matters.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
So I have been trying to find a cleaning schedule that works well for me. I have the hardest time staying on top of my home management. I stumbled across this amazing <a href="http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/2008/12/inside-guide-how-to-get-started.html" target="_blank">site</a> the other day. She has this binder called '<a href="http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/2008/12/inside-guide-how-to-get-started.html" target="_blank">The Home Management Guide</a>' and I absolutely love it. She says that she is the manager of their home and that this guide helps her keep her home 'managed.' Everything is broken down into sections. I won't be using all the sections in it, and some of my sections will be used differently, but I absolutely need to give this awesome lady credit. I already have an organized binder for my meal planning and recipes and it works great for me and helps aid me in my meal planning. So why I didn't think of a HM binder sooner is beyond me. It has great lists and ideas. I've incorporated chore charts into my children's schedules and they have been successful. I've just haven't found something that worked for me. I'm so excited about doing this binder. I'm so glad that she created this and shared it. She encourages us not to do it ALL in one sitting. And so I'm going to take her advice. I will create one section at a time and share with you what I have come up with. Also, just because this works for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Her HMG and mine will be different because we are different people and we have different homes. Find something that works for you. Try different things and if it doesn't work out try something different. Find out what works with your personality and home. Again this was not my idea, I'm am just sharing what my HMG contains. The 'original' creator can be found <a href="http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/2008/12/inside-guide-how-to-get-started.html" target="_blank">here</a>. Also check out the rest of her site for more great ideas on budgeting, organization and more. I don't consider myself a 'manager' so to accommodate myself and my personality I will call my guide the 'Homemaking Guide.' I hope you guys can gain some inspiration from this project. Make sure you check out <a href="http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/" target="_blank">Heather's site</a>, since she is the 'original' creator of this guide, for some more awesome ideas on how to manage your home.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I have been looking for a little girl dress slip tutorial for like forever. I didn't have much luck. Not that many people where slips anymore I guess. But here's the thing I had sewing ruffles. They take forever. Recently I learned that you can buy a ruffler foot. But those are pretty pricey. I did some research and found out how to make a ruffle without one and I thought I would share.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First make your stitch length as long as you can</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-eUBVsNERpw0/T_PJgOcd7iI/AAAAAAAAAZ8/KA-RCWUiff4/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.38.34+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-eUBVsNERpw0/T_PJgOcd7iI/AAAAAAAAAZ8/KA-RCWUiff4/s320/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.38.34+PM.png" width="213" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then make the thread tension as high as it goes</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wPqF0RHiJig/T_PJkEBW-zI/AAAAAAAAAaE/n9q-taRfeVI/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.38.46+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wPqF0RHiJig/T_PJkEBW-zI/AAAAAAAAAaE/n9q-taRfeVI/s320/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.38.46+PM.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Guide your fabric with one hand</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jdecoUWuprU/T_PJmG7dalI/AAAAAAAAAaM/TADLdVrKikU/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.39.01+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jdecoUWuprU/T_PJmG7dalI/AAAAAAAAAaM/TADLdVrKikU/s320/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.39.01+PM.png" width="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then rest your other hand on the top of your machine where the thread starts to go in</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Be sure not to hold too tight, just a little pressure with your hand</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-52I44SxxkpI/T_PJqgakGsI/AAAAAAAAAaU/58CDdH_ST1Y/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.39.11+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-52I44SxxkpI/T_PJqgakGsI/AAAAAAAAAaU/58CDdH_ST1Y/s320/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.39.11+PM.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then as you sew, your fabric will start to gather</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-n7E_ZlVSTdk/T_PJuX2oPeI/AAAAAAAAAak/4_3YdQZ-fHQ/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.39.37+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-n7E_ZlVSTdk/T_PJuX2oPeI/AAAAAAAAAak/4_3YdQZ-fHQ/s320/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.39.37+PM.png" width="211" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Perfectly gathered and I didn't even have to pull any strings</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You might have to adjust the gathers a bit to fit correctly</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pTOZaD1oslU/T_PJykM8zxI/AAAAAAAAAas/XMZ81B67fxg/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.39.50+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pTOZaD1oslU/T_PJykM8zxI/AAAAAAAAAas/XMZ81B67fxg/s320/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.39.50+PM.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To Make the slip </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I cut the bottom of a onesie off</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9dIlkKmmf88/T_PJ7D-248I/AAAAAAAAAbE/z36OEvIHVIc/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.40.33+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9dIlkKmmf88/T_PJ7D-248I/AAAAAAAAAbE/z36OEvIHVIc/s320/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.40.33+PM.png" width="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Measure the the width of the onesie all the way around and double it for the length of the first ruffle</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then for the second ruffle double the length of the first ruffle</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Rq-pQjH07nQ/T_PJ0ro4MHI/AAAAAAAAAa0/dhlTm65Q-AY/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.40.04+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Rq-pQjH07nQ/T_PJ0ro4MHI/AAAAAAAAAa0/dhlTm65Q-AY/s320/Screen+shot+2012-07-03+at+9.40.04+PM.png" width="213" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just used cotton fabric and it does quite poof right So I added a ruffled tulle edge on the bottom to give it a bit more poof to it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To gather the tulle I sewed down the center of it using the sam technique</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--HQlcZZuMiI/T7SWnzM6eBI/AAAAAAAAATg/ufFrC1a0wbU/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-05-16+at+10.30.20+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--HQlcZZuMiI/T7SWnzM6eBI/AAAAAAAAATg/ufFrC1a0wbU/s320/Screen+shot+2012-05-16+at+10.30.20+PM.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's the loot I got from the dollar store to aide me in my next few crafts. I got all my ideas via pinterest. There are some amazing people in blog land and thanks to pinterest I can easily find their great ideas and share them. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the first project I made a pom pomander out of cupcake liners. I got the idea <a href="http://www.karaspartyideas.com/2011/01/cupcake-liner-pom-poms-tutorial-vintage.html" target="_blank">here</a> at Kara's Party Ideas. I love this site!! Go there and check it out right now. I'll wait. She has every party idea you can think of.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Awesome right?! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok so she used pins and being as I'm cheap and don't want to use my precious pins, I just hot glued them to the styrofoam ball. And since it was the dollar store there cupcake liner options were limited. As in they only had white. So First I held the center of the liner and squished it.... See...? Ok if you don't refer back to Kara's awesome tutorial <a href="http://www.karaspartyideas.com/2011/01/cupcake-liner-pom-poms-tutorial-vintage.html" target="_blank">here</a>. You will also notice that she used several liners with one pin. I only used one at a time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-38MPcfGMrVM/T7SWsmv6YAI/AAAAAAAAATo/9A4YV3M4zr4/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-05-16+at+10.30.37+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-38MPcfGMrVM/T7SWsmv6YAI/AAAAAAAAATo/9A4YV3M4zr4/s320/Screen+shot+2012-05-16+at+10.30.37+PM.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Since I didn't want to use the pin I needed to do only one liner at a time and I bent the tip to glue it to the ball. Use the lower setting on your glue gun so you won't burn a hole thru the ball, just sayin'. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9gTBYwWpAkc/T7SWxbHqXYI/AAAAAAAAATw/19Yjj4pPb8w/s1600/Screen+shot+2012-05-16+at+10.30.50+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9gTBYwWpAkc/T7SWxbHqXYI/AAAAAAAAATw/19Yjj4pPb8w/s320/Screen+shot+2012-05-16+at+10.30.50+PM.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then fluff the liner to spread it out a little. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Continue to glue the liners fairly close, so the styrofoam doesn't show thru. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I have been working on my daughter's room for... well forever. My brain has just been overloaded with so many ideas and I've been trying to condense it all. I'm am so close to being done. Funds were super limited with this room so I spent a lot of time searching pinterest for ideas on cheap diy crafts to make my vision come to life. We will have some tutorials on how I did some of these crafts and where I got the ideas. So come back soon for the big reveal and some fun tutorials on cheap decor crafts.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ok, so I was going thru my craft supplies the other day 'trying' to organized stuff and I realized I have a boat load of felt not the nice wool felt but the cheap polyester stuff. From a bunch of different projects. I was getting bored with my little girl's bows. She wears the same ones all the time. So I made some boutique bows and a lace flower. And since I have a mound of felt I figured I would look up some cute felt clip ideas. I found some great tutorials <a href="http://www.livingwellspendingless.com/2011/11/26/handmade-felt-flowers/" target="_blank">here</a> and <a href="http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2011/03/baby-hair-accessories-wool-felt.html" target="_blank">here</a>. I learned you should use the wool felt but being cheap and not wanting to go buy more and add to the pile I used what I had.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Mound of Felt</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-z5Zf36Gh-Ys/T5nZRV7o8tI/AAAAAAAAAN8/c9yOfK92AwQ/s1600/IMG_0479.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-z5Zf36Gh-Ys/T5nZRV7o8tI/AAAAAAAAAN8/c9yOfK92AwQ/s320/IMG_0479.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lace Flower Tutorial</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Supplies:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2 feet of 4 inch lace</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Needle and Thread</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Button, Jewel or some kind of embellishment for the center</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Clip for the back</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Glue</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-S1xkk09Ew04/T5nZXYmVsuI/AAAAAAAAAOE/58xFrUkO6Zc/s1600/IMG_0480.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-S1xkk09Ew04/T5nZXYmVsuI/AAAAAAAAAOE/58xFrUkO6Zc/s320/IMG_0480.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First I cut my 4 inch wide lace into 3 inch strips, end up with 8 pieces,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fhz0dCjMSdA/T5nZeEbHBOI/AAAAAAAAAOM/X7vHjgk1yWE/s1600/IMG_0481.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fhz0dCjMSdA/T5nZeEbHBOI/AAAAAAAAAOM/X7vHjgk1yWE/s320/IMG_0481.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then I pushed the needle up and down as I went thru the lace, top to bottom,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FEGRrm_jFQY/T5nZkoIxsyI/AAAAAAAAAOU/wrnp7whlhXE/s1600/IMG_0482.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FEGRrm_jFQY/T5nZkoIxsyI/AAAAAAAAAOU/wrnp7whlhXE/s320/IMG_0482.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pull tight and tie of the end of the thread, repeat for all 8 pieces,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tk7CyQy6pFk/T5nZq8S-KeI/AAAAAAAAAOc/FpuHE1oJto0/s1600/IMG_0483.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tk7CyQy6pFk/T5nZq8S-KeI/AAAAAAAAAOc/FpuHE1oJto0/s320/IMG_0483.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once you have all 8 done, fold them in half where you cinch the center, and put them all together facing the same way, (hope this makes sense)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9I8MPqt4aSE/T5nZv9FMyHI/AAAAAAAAAOk/Y8HlxhPp9mc/s1600/IMG_0484.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9I8MPqt4aSE/T5nZv9FMyHI/AAAAAAAAAOk/Y8HlxhPp9mc/s320/IMG_0484.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When they are all together they should look like this...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KZU3RrN50O8/T5nZ7S0dw2I/AAAAAAAAAO0/Ke2S_Q4Tmyo/s1600/IMG_0486.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KZU3RrN50O8/T5nZ7S0dw2I/AAAAAAAAAO0/Ke2S_Q4Tmyo/s320/IMG_0486.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jwkMRUDPlQs/T5naBz9gSBI/AAAAAAAAAO8/1nJxDuYazsI/s1600/IMG_0487.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jwkMRUDPlQs/T5naBz9gSBI/AAAAAAAAAO8/1nJxDuYazsI/s320/IMG_0487.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then take your needle and thread again and sew the ends together,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UfCfQCjXzm8/T5naIXp3jJI/AAAAAAAAAPE/wL4PWk7lLyI/s1600/IMG_0488.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UfCfQCjXzm8/T5naIXp3jJI/AAAAAAAAAPE/wL4PWk7lLyI/s320/IMG_0488.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pull tight and tie off,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xDy8FAZSVaw/T5naN8NPBAI/AAAAAAAAAPM/1IUu-aua_9s/s1600/IMG_0489.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xDy8FAZSVaw/T5naN8NPBAI/AAAAAAAAAPM/1IUu-aua_9s/s320/IMG_0489.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When you flip it over it should look like this...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8J7A3bFKejI/T5naUB6TDaI/AAAAAAAAAPU/j0sqnBVuD7E/s1600/IMG_0490.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8J7A3bFKejI/T5naUB6TDaI/AAAAAAAAAPU/j0sqnBVuD7E/s320/IMG_0490.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Find the center and add your embellishment,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XO43yMt3Qzw/T5nabXje8sI/AAAAAAAAAPc/PlJxpgGmiBo/s1600/IMG_0491.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XO43yMt3Qzw/T5nabXje8sI/AAAAAAAAAPc/PlJxpgGmiBo/s320/IMG_0491.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Turn it back over and add you clip,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All done!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2Xp9TmMRoCQ/T5nah8WuckI/AAAAAAAAAPk/m12hk5V36gI/s1600/IMG_0492.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2Xp9TmMRoCQ/T5nah8WuckI/AAAAAAAAAPk/m12hk5V36gI/s320/IMG_0492.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Felt Flower Tutorials</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I basically followed the tutorials I found, so this isn't my own idea. They go into way more detail so check them out <a href="http://www.livingwellspendingless.com/2011/11/26/handmade-felt-flowers/" target="_blank">here</a> and <a href="http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2011/03/baby-hair-accessories-wool-felt.html" target="_blank">here</a>. Their blogs rock by the way. This is what I did...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut a circle of felt, then cut it into a wavy spiral, (the waves create petals) leave a little circle at the center,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yndKAYD5_mo/T5napDmUn_I/AAAAAAAAAPs/k7Q7TGfTz78/s1600/IMG_0493.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yndKAYD5_mo/T5napDmUn_I/AAAAAAAAAPs/k7Q7TGfTz78/s320/IMG_0493.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Take the smallest end and start to roll it,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-w58oY15fYng/T5nav1lSTOI/AAAAAAAAAP0/FHUTkabXspM/s1600/IMG_0494.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-w58oY15fYng/T5nav1lSTOI/AAAAAAAAAP0/FHUTkabXspM/s320/IMG_0494.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vHWAhmabnSU/T5na2hUwu0I/AAAAAAAAAP8/j7QzoQJz1tY/s1600/IMG_0495.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vHWAhmabnSU/T5na2hUwu0I/AAAAAAAAAP8/j7QzoQJz1tY/s320/IMG_0495.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Continue to roll it until you get to the end, glue the end to the back, (be sure to goop on enough because this is what will keep your spiral together)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ayyRNeEIFgQ/T5na9iwc07I/AAAAAAAAAQE/RMpwsiOPjKk/s1600/IMG_0496.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ayyRNeEIFgQ/T5na9iwc07I/AAAAAAAAAQE/RMpwsiOPjKk/s320/IMG_0496.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-v7aVa8tQH-A/T5nbEXDMXTI/AAAAAAAAAQM/AUNSGvxBp9s/s1600/IMG_0497.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-v7aVa8tQH-A/T5nbEXDMXTI/AAAAAAAAAQM/AUNSGvxBp9s/s320/IMG_0497.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For leaves, cut a shape like this....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JRQKY19Wp3I/T5nbLs3eMmI/AAAAAAAAAQU/GexfwUDSfyU/s1600/IMG_0498.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JRQKY19Wp3I/T5nbLs3eMmI/AAAAAAAAAQU/GexfwUDSfyU/s320/IMG_0498.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then glue it to the back, add clip and your done!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qub8T_Tcdbs/T5nbS9cA6vI/AAAAAAAAAQc/BXoj9AEo3EY/s1600/IMG_0499.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qub8T_Tcdbs/T5nbS9cA6vI/AAAAAAAAAQc/BXoj9AEo3EY/s320/IMG_0499.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the next one,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut a strip of felt narrow and long, I don't know what length I did sorry, just eye ball it, (the wider it is the bigger it will be, and the longer it is the fuller it will be)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-o1CYLtsq6z8/T5nbZTnSg7I/AAAAAAAAAQk/qyx6IZtOQEY/s1600/IMG_0500.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-o1CYLtsq6z8/T5nbZTnSg7I/AAAAAAAAAQk/qyx6IZtOQEY/s320/IMG_0500.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then glue or sew the two long edges together, (I tried both and either works fine, sewing took a little longer but the glue made it a little bulkier)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9F6GxIwGmG0/T5nbfoKvEFI/AAAAAAAAAQs/IgSh5z9wgsM/s1600/IMG_0501.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9F6GxIwGmG0/T5nbfoKvEFI/AAAAAAAAAQs/IgSh5z9wgsM/s320/IMG_0501.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-38cChgEWQb8/T5nbmENAgxI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/vlePW48URv4/s1600/IMG_0502.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-38cChgEWQb8/T5nbmENAgxI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/vlePW48URv4/s320/IMG_0502.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Folded in half</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mgsL8_bEPFo/T5nbslme7eI/AAAAAAAAAQ8/L9nu4HvXi2k/s1600/IMG_0503.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mgsL8_bEPFo/T5nbslme7eI/AAAAAAAAAQ8/L9nu4HvXi2k/s320/IMG_0503.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now cut narrow strips, cutting from the folded part to the glued part, DO NOT CUT ALL THE WAY THRU!! This is where the glue comes in handy, it keeps you from cutting is all the way, make sure to cut fairly close to the edge but not too close,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RB83ytw3jEk/T5nbySHQ1qI/AAAAAAAAARE/SNFAAOnzeEk/s1600/IMG_0504.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RB83ytw3jEk/T5nbySHQ1qI/AAAAAAAAARE/SNFAAOnzeEk/s320/IMG_0504.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iGd91DPf0nA/T5nb5AcvvsI/AAAAAAAAARM/BbnUet96MTk/s1600/IMG_0505.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iGd91DPf0nA/T5nb5AcvvsI/AAAAAAAAARM/BbnUet96MTk/s320/IMG_0505.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once the whole thing is cut, start rolling it together, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t9F5Bi8rlK8/T5nb_vbJYyI/AAAAAAAAARU/bi3YFMsmjHQ/s1600/IMG_0506.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t9F5Bi8rlK8/T5nb_vbJYyI/AAAAAAAAARU/bi3YFMsmjHQ/s320/IMG_0506.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-r7l8bCmVuQg/T5ncFcmh_AI/AAAAAAAAARc/DAZOqP9IfPE/s1600/IMG_0507.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-r7l8bCmVuQg/T5ncFcmh_AI/AAAAAAAAARc/DAZOqP9IfPE/s320/IMG_0507.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bA6_5CnjcoY/T5ncKcfY8aI/AAAAAAAAARk/szcu-Hth2N4/s1600/IMG_0508.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bA6_5CnjcoY/T5ncKcfY8aI/AAAAAAAAARk/szcu-Hth2N4/s320/IMG_0508.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once the whole thing is rolled you can sew or glue the bottom together. I prefer to sew the glue was messy and added too much bulk, but either works fine, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JamnaVtp7XE/T5ncV6fOfUI/AAAAAAAAAR0/tATH6QZkTJI/s1600/IMG_0510.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JamnaVtp7XE/T5ncV6fOfUI/AAAAAAAAAR0/tATH6QZkTJI/s320/IMG_0510.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-N3I4pB9-0Uw/T5ncb3b3X1I/AAAAAAAAAR8/kpmvcFOzz_M/s1600/IMG_0511.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-N3I4pB9-0Uw/T5ncb3b3X1I/AAAAAAAAAR8/kpmvcFOzz_M/s320/IMG_0511.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1bDr6VlpFKs/T5nchaXCJJI/AAAAAAAAASE/oE2OZTyvc9Q/s1600/IMG_0512.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1bDr6VlpFKs/T5nchaXCJJI/AAAAAAAAASE/oE2OZTyvc9Q/s320/IMG_0512.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pull tight and tie off,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6xy4y3GcigE/T5ncnjOhvdI/AAAAAAAAASM/dYszTECPwT8/s1600/IMG_0513.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6xy4y3GcigE/T5ncnjOhvdI/AAAAAAAAASM/dYszTECPwT8/s320/IMG_0513.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut a small circle to cover the bottom,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VWCb-pBJtmo/T5nctjxD4vI/AAAAAAAAASU/_RNOW-JPQ3M/s1600/IMG_0514.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VWCb-pBJtmo/T5nctjxD4vI/AAAAAAAAASU/_RNOW-JPQ3M/s320/IMG_0514.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And leaves if you want, glue or sew the leaves in place, I used glue, then the circle to hide everything and hold in place,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4JLbXqomdyw/T5nczuxgtRI/AAAAAAAAASc/ShVfeakTBg8/s1600/IMG_0515.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4JLbXqomdyw/T5nczuxgtRI/AAAAAAAAASc/ShVfeakTBg8/s320/IMG_0515.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Add a clip then all done!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gsoOyMzfRPM/T5nc5jKsI5I/AAAAAAAAASk/BiyoArDvqeE/s1600/IMG_0516.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gsoOyMzfRPM/T5nc5jKsI5I/AAAAAAAAASk/BiyoArDvqeE/s320/IMG_0516.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut five circles the same sized, (I cut my fifth circle too small as you will see in the bottom pictures, it works best if they are all the same size)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T8l0t1sNzqo/T5nc_tLe0gI/AAAAAAAAASs/asYcgW-KWTs/s1600/IMG_0517.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T8l0t1sNzqo/T5nc_tLe0gI/AAAAAAAAASs/asYcgW-KWTs/s320/IMG_0517.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fold your circle in half twice, then sew the tip so it stays that way,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1adZfKXkBEo/T5ndFlnxi1I/AAAAAAAAAS0/bRhmKv1tHTI/s1600/IMG_0518.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1adZfKXkBEo/T5ndFlnxi1I/AAAAAAAAAS0/bRhmKv1tHTI/s320/IMG_0518.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do this to four of the circles, then take the fifth circle and sew the 4 folded circles on top, (it doesn't matter which way they face)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ed-jTxQxGl8/T5ndLWg0TII/AAAAAAAAAS8/go19UO2DHwc/s1600/IMG_0519.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ed-jTxQxGl8/T5ndLWg0TII/AAAAAAAAAS8/go19UO2DHwc/s320/IMG_0519.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once all four circles are on fluff them up so they cover the center, add leaves and a clip then you are done!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZE-TSaXIlcI/T5ndRH5KDSI/AAAAAAAAATE/xUrAxFfOvZ4/s1600/IMG_0520.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZE-TSaXIlcI/T5ndRH5KDSI/AAAAAAAAATE/xUrAxFfOvZ4/s320/IMG_0520.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then using all these flowers I made them smaller and glued them together!! The possibilities are endless! I love that this project didn't cost my anything because I used what I had on hand. Love it when I can complete a project without spending a penny.</div>

So I learned a while ago that you can make your own laundry soap. WHAT?! Yup that's right. And it's super duper easy. No seriously it is! So I started to research it a bit. Their are recipes ALL over pinterest and blogland. So I talked to some friends about it and one of them has been making it already to save some money. Really? How much money can you really be saving? I mean is it really worth it? OH MY GOSH YES!!! The recipe she used was the one from the family that has nineteen kids, I think they are the Duggar family. Anyway, I cut it in half because their recipe made TEN GALLONS!! So I cut it in half and made only five. It turned out really watery. It washed my clothes great, just like regular soap, but I wasn't to happy about the wateriness (is that even a word) of it and the fact that I had to use a five gallon bucket to mix it. So I tried a new recipe that I found <a href="http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2012/01/the-complete-photo-guide-to-making-your-own-homemade-laundry-detergent.html">here</a> via pinterest and I like the texture of this batch way better and that I just put it in my bottles and shake it to mix it up. She has way more detailed instructions so go check her out. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, in short, here's what you need: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 bar of soap ( I love Fels-Naptha!! I love the smell and the fact that it's laundry soap)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 cup borax</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 cup washing soda (not baking soda)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Grate up your bar of soap. Then melt it down on the stove top in about 8 cups of water. Stir until all the pieces are melted (don't let it boil, it will foam). Add Borax and Washing Soda. Stir until dissolved, then remove from heat. Evenly distribute into 3 to 4 containers. (I used old juice containers that I washed out, I wouldn't use milk jugs because the heat from the water makes them warp) Then add hot water, around 4 cups to each container. Give each container a good shake, Then let cool. It will harden a little into jelly like substance. As its cooling you can give the containers a shake every now and then to keep it broken up a bit but it isn't needed. Once cooled, evenly add hot water to each container until full. Leave a bit of space so that you can shake to mix one last time. Cap 'em and store 'em. I use about 1/4 cup with each load. As they sit, they will separate so you will need to give them a shake each time you use it. </div>
<img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5727743380732746754" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_Aiop3LVsLI/T30IQgUrnAI/AAAAAAAAAHA/sECX2dcL0o8/s320/IMG_0275.JPG" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 239px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 320px;" /><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5727743389818126994" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fM-drQhsI8U/T30IRCKzgpI/AAAAAAAAAHM/d4Sl-m9uAFY/s320/IMG_0277.JPG" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 320px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 238px;" /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6TyiAFPRTOE/T30IRc7Co1I/AAAAAAAAAHY/9ETyHrGKXgI/s1600/IMG_0450.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5727743396999766866" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6TyiAFPRTOE/T30IRc7Co1I/AAAAAAAAAHY/9ETyHrGKXgI/s320/IMG_0450.JPG" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 320px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 238px;" /></a><br />
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's it! Pretty simple huh? Now the break down in cost. I got all the supplies at my local walmart.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Soap 97 cents</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Big Box of Borax was 3 buck and some change</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Big Box of Washing Soda was 3 bucks and some change. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So with taxes about 10 bucks for making 3 - 4 gallons of laundry soap!! And since you only use a little of the Borax and Washing Soda it only cost a dollar the next time you make it!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So worth the savings to me!!</div>
